Returns and refunds
How to send something back, what is covered, and how long a refund takes.
New products
Unopened new products can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. Opened but undamaged products can be returned within the same window, less any restocking charge shown at the time of the return.
Used and refurbished machines
Used machines can be returned within 7 days of delivery if they do not match their listing, and are covered for faults by the workshop warranty stated on the product page. Because each used machine is a single unit, a change-of-mind return may carry a restocking charge.
Every used machine is listed with the specification it actually has and is checked before it ships. Where a listing is uncertain about something — an unreadable model number, a battery whose health has not been measured — the product page says so. If a machine arrives materially different from its listing, that is our error and the return is free, whichever window you are in.
What cannot be returned
- Software and digital licences once the key has been revealed
- Custom-built machines, once assembled, except where a part is faulty
- Consumables such as thermal paste, once opened
- Anything damaged after delivery, including liquid damage and impact damage
How to start one
Open the order in your orders and press Return an item. Choose the lines you are sending back and a reason. You will get an RMA reference straight away, and the return moves through requested, approved, received and refunded — visible on the same page throughout, so you never have to ask where it is.
Refunds
Refunds are issued once the item is back with us and checked, to the method you paid with. Allow a few working days for it to appear.
Faulty items and warranty
A fault inside the warranty period is a repair or replacement rather than a return. Start that at repairs and warranty, which tracks the machine through the workshop.
